As far as the theory of sexuality is concerned in psychoanalysis, masturbation as we know isn't considered our first sexual experience. Prior to it, there should be other phases of masturbation, whose main goal isn't solely genital pleasure. Namely, pre-genital phases.

The baby, in breastfeeding, already feels pleasure by suckling on a baby bottle or mother's milk, the so-called oral phase. Later, one feels pleasure in retaining and freeing feces, the so-called anal phase, then followed by the phallic phase, in which a child discovers the sex differences.

Throughout the growing process, the child goes through the latency phase, whereupon the entire emotional luggage generated by sexuality gets placed aside.

In puberty and adulthood, sexual pleasure revolves on the genitals, and so with come of puberty would an individual go into the genital phase itself, on which point begins the sexual desire, as we know it. In addition, such sexual desire in principle won't be fulfilled with a partner. It happens because the adolescent isn't psychologically prepared to face an all out sexual relation, for not knowing how should a sexual relation work much as his/hers own body.

Otherwise, the desire exists. What happens, then? The youngster sets own desires free through masturbation. on top of that, self-discover, by getting to know a little bit more about the body, perceiving which sensations lie in the sexual act, how to control orgasms and so on. Though, masturbation could be considered the veritable sexual experience of human beings.

During masturbation, mind and body respond to stimuli much as would respond in a sexual relation with a partner. Therein secretions released, hormones, there's sexual pleasure and the orgasm itself.

Most likely, a teen would get about business in hide, just as it could happen in your first sexual relation with someone.

In spite of its importance for the mature sexual life, masturbation is considered taboo subject still.

This kind of subject isn't likely to be brought across amongst friends, parents or peers, by utter reproach, by societal inculcation and pigeon holing.Arguably, masturbation is quite healthy as it goes and aids us to come to terms with sexual foreplay by touching stimuli- prone erogenous spots. Orgasm yielding sensations and how would the body respond to sexual fantasies. Stemming from a moment of intimacy and fulfilling expectations before the follow-through of a sexual act.

It ends up by turning out to be the very first sexual experience, once allowing the individual to obtain sexual intercourse-like sensations.Masturbation isn't just the first sexual experience of a human being but also it comes to show what everyone likes or dislikes during sexual intercourse. As healthy, it can be taken along all the way, whether as a side dish or even as main course.
